Dearie Birthday 2010

This post is late by 1 week plus... busy baking... Dearie's Birthday on 28th March, we celebrated one day before.... so fast! This is another year again. Last year March I was still in maternity leave! I wana add borders to the pictures if the eggs but failed despite doing it for many times for 2 days... Red eggs... Stick Man! A simple celebration this year. We went to Clementi for dinner. This stall was aired in Channel 8 programme 煮抄来咯! Location is at Block 378, Clementi. The signature dishes are Cereal Oat Crayfish, Fried Yong Tau Hu and Hong Kong style steam fish. We ordered Cereal Oat Crayfish, medium size (Yeah, came for that so must eat more lah), Fried yong tau hu, yam ring and clayhot fish head. We were there at 6.15pm, to get a guarenteed seat. Today, we went to Bedok again for the chicken Rice at Block 704. We were early today, reached at 7pm. But, the chickens were sold out! White chicken, roasted chickens... only left with the roasted pork. We bought that, as the roasted pork was nice, and took some chili too. This time, the chili is a bit watery liao, not as good as the first time where it is very thick and nice. In the end, we had Teochew porridge from other stall. It was disappointing. Expensive. and not nice at all. I didn't even want to take pictures of it! In order not to treat our tummies badly for the rest of the night with the yucky food, we headed for some ice cream! ice cream gallery is a must go place for us when we are in the East, other than having Airport Swensen's ice cream. Each visit, we will have a cone each and also buy some tubs home. Without fail, WE all will have RUM & RAISIN each visit. But today, they have my fav. Bailey Irish Cream and MIL's fav durian (it is not the normal durian ice cream, this have the durian fresh in it, yummy!) Dear and I have Irish cream so we bought 2 tubs of Rum & Raisin and 1 tub of Durian and 1 Tub of Irish Cream. They can last 30-45mins so its a home sweet home!
