5 Jan 09 - 38 weeks 6 days check up

Went for gynae appt this morning, slow traffic from BKE till PIE. . . BB is now 3.1kg!! Was put on CTG after scan and have slight contractions already. Anyway, have dilated 2cm and so she is ready to come out ANYTIME!!! really anytime!!!! Anyway, gynae suggested to induced as she is moving less then 10 times a day, afraid that the cord might tangled around her legs. I told her that I will call the clinic in the afternoon after consideration . . . Have decided to induce tomorrow, so gotta reach the clinic at 9am as I don want to deliver after evening. . . See you tomorrow darling!!

29 Dec 08 - Gynae visit at 37 weeks 6days

Appt at 10.30am to day, waited for 15mins and met Dr. Khi at 10.45am. Did a scan and saw that the umbilical cord is very near to BB's neck, so must monitor her movements to be at least 10 times during the day. Also put me on CTG to monitor her heartbeat as well as contractions. While I'm on CTG and watching TV, dear is sleeping "soundly" on the sofa, before he dozed off, he commented it would be best if it is a massaging armchair, but I think no need for him . . . The result is out, having a pus cell infection, so need to take pills to stop the infection, hopefully before BB is out so that will not be passed to her. Look at the size, 1/2 the size of my fingers. . . but of course, this is not by oral, it is to be inserted.... how to swollow such a BIG pill? I have problems even with those small ones already!

22 Dec 2008 - week 36 day 6

Experienced green discharge this morning, did not bother about it till I went to the ladies and found it in green color. Called the clinic and they asked me down for a check as it might be infection. Appointment at 2.30pm, checked was infected by bacteria. Gynae said send it for 2 lab tests, 1 which the result will be out in this 2 days and another 1 is by next week. Might have to take medication to stop the infection as afraid that it will be passed on to bb if water bag burst. Also checked cervix and I have dilated 1cm already!

21 Nov 08 - 32 weeks 3 days

Appt with Caroline was at 1030am, but reached there at 9.45am to sign up for cord blood banking. Met up with Angela and signed the necessary documents which took about 25 minutes only, since I am existing clients, not much are needed to explain as there were no changes within the past year. Only changes was instead storing the stem cells into tubes, they are storing into packets. Instead of collecting a tube of the mother's blood, they have changed to 2 tubes. Last time, all four tubes were stored in Science Park 1, now they will slip the packets and store in 2 different locations, Science Park 1 and Science Park 2 respectively. Registration fee was $850, as my gynae's clinic was tied with Stem Cord, they have this special rate. Last year was only $800 when I signed up for Brandon's one. Current registration fee is at $1150 with a 20% promotion is $920. Luckily I can save more since I am with ACJ clinic waited for 80 mintues since my appt time at 1030am Anyway, waited till 1140am then its my turn.... all those ppl booked appt so early still late then book later ma.... I purposely book this time appt at an hour early then my usual then in the end still the same... Caroline asked me to watch my diet cos this month I am "over weight". A month max should increase weight by 2kg, but I increased by 3.3kg. BB tummy "a bit big" and during scan, caught her "eating" again! hahaha, I cannot control ley... most of the time, I ate 2 bowls of rice (at home) oh... maybe cos I had too much of Meiji cocoa milk (Caroline said its fattening, MIL said cos its cocoa flavour). . . . aiya, craved for that, how to stop?! some more NTUC promo, 2 btls fr $5.75 (around there). Well, Caroline have a new machine that can see 2D & 3D! Showed me the 3D but too bad BB's hand covered her face... so not successful, if not, I will have another scanned copy to bring home. .. . . Next appt is 3 weeks later, suddenly time passes so fast! After 3 weeks, is 2 weeks and then once a week and its labour time. . . . In another 6 weeks she'll be in my arms! ! !

4 Nov 08 - week 30

week 30 today liao.... tummy so heavy, I am walking more and more slowly.. . . . . Ordered mac for lunch as I don feel like walking "all the way" to coffee shop....... Tummy weight just pull me down, even toilet break also 懒的去 . . . unless really 忍不住 have to wait for another 2 more weeks for another gynae appt. . . . like so long like that. Last appt was on 24 Oct only... hahaha..... always see my tummy vibrate violently, wonder is it because not enuff space for her to grow..... belly button is beginnig to change!!!!! yeah, excited, cos Brandon nv made my belly button change wor....

3 Nov 08 - Extended ML

Just read from MOM... ML is now officially 16 weeks! horray!!! Marriage_and_Parenthood went to check the info in my company site but it is not updated yet, the ML, CCL, ICL, all not updated yet. . . . . . wonder when will the updated information be ready. . .

29 Oct 08 - 29 Weeks and 2 days preggy

another 75 days to go. . .. . in the beginning, i always hope that time will pass quickly and now I will deliver in another 2 months time. progress: about 1.2 kg, a small to medium size baby. . . Qoute from: 3d pregnency speaking of energy, little Energizer moussie is on fire these days. feel the share of kicks, punches and elbows, especially when I'm lying down. You might want to start keeping a kick chart to monitor your baby's movements, and also to later show your 13-year-old child what you endured for him or her. Ask your doctor how to count kicks and how often you should do it.

29 August 08 - 5th month scan

Collected Brandon's passport on Friday morning and went to Taka for my Sanur lunch. Craving for that for that 1 week. Went for detailed scan in the late afternoon followed by follow up consultant with Dr Khi. Andy has not wasted his no pay leave as we managed to see te gender of the baby this time round. A princess!!!! yeah! 90% is a princess and 100% is after delivered. yeah, we all know that. So now, I am starting to look at names that start with letter C. Calista, Carina, Chloe, Caroline. . etc. .

5th month detailed scan on this Friday

During my last scan on 8 August 08, many asked me about the gender of the baby, well, mine is a shy baby so did not have the chance to see it. Anyway, Andy says he will go the the scan with me on this Friday - he don trust me when I told him cannot see the gender, cos initally, I told him and my MIL that I don want to know that gender until delivery. He is willing to give up the pay on Friday just to know the gender, hmmmmm,... . (his work is got work got $, no work no $). Anyway, he says we are going on a date this Friday! I am so happy, yeah! Going for a movie, walk walk then to the gynae at late PM. looking forward to our " 2 ren shi jie" !

08 Aug 08 - scan

took blood test today during gynae appt.... oozing. . . .hahaha.... men only need to take one time and women need to take one time each for every each pregnency..... not fair...

28 May 08 - 2nd scan for Baby 2

This is the 2nd scan. Look at that little cutie! Each and every month, I will wait patiently for the gynae's appointment, cos I look forward to hearing the heartbeat and seeing the little movements. A very special feeling when there is a little life forming in me. . . *same thoughts & feelings while carrying Brandon too*

18 May 08 - Hit the jackpot. Again!!

I got Andy to buy this twin pack for me, since watson is having a 20% off for selected items. & we hit the jackpot again! I took his hand and congrats him that he is going to be a father of 2 soon! He laughed and immediately called my MIL to inform her of the good news, me too, called my daddy. Both were happy and shocked at the same time, that we are a fast paced production centre. hahahaha
