Tina's last day and... New Maid - Khi Htoo

Day 1 - 1.00pm Picked up new maid, Khi Htoo at Peninsular Plaza, after going through the contract and paid the loan amount, I told her to take her bag as we are going home. Her luggage SHOCKED me! Moving house? I wont bring so much things with me even if I'm going on a holiday!! Her luggage got 4 wheels, I mean those really big kind of luggage! Got 2 new pairs of jeans, 1 new pair of heels, many many many t-shirts and shorts, about 15 each ba. 1 bag of worn clothes for 7 whole days! Meaning from Day 1 she arrived in Singapore until the day we picked her she did not wash any of her dirty clothes! Staying at the agent house never wash? It stinks! You cannot imagine the smell, until you smell it. First thing to do was to unpack luggage. was to ask her to soak her clothes, and towel. Taught her to wash toilet and mop floor only. after that let her clean herself. While telling her about stuff in our house, left hand "comb" hair, right hand peeling her foot skin. Strands of hair on the floor and keep using hand to "sweep". She has a very STRONG body odour. It may be due to the spices they ate in their home country. It was time to for dinner, she say she eat alot. So took a big plate of rice and other dishes. And she finished all the rice, the rest she don't want to eat, and she say finished. I don't want her to waste anything that's why I let her take the food herself, take how much must finish how much. The fish, prawn and vege all wasted. Day 2 Whole house is filled with her smell when we woke up! very serious! Cannot tahan... Ask her to make cereal and bread for her breakfast and she sulk. She tell me must eat rice. The children reject her company, MIL complain of puking and I also cannot stand the smell! You cannot imagine the smell. Did not go near her but the whole house is filled with her smell ! sHe shakes her head on things we ask her to do. do the wrong way from what we taught her. (she said that Myanmar not like this. maybe I should pay her salary in Myanmar dollars cos she is from Myanmar hor?) Tina can clean my windows very well. Until my kitchen window have a reflection. She only clean once a week. Khi Htoo clean the same window as well. Did not expect to have reflection since she has no experience. But totally cannot look out the window. '_' Clean half the window again to show her, using same method. Mine half can see through with reflection, hers is white, cannot see through. Because the Zip never wipe till clean before "polishing" with newspaper. Wash the toilet also same, the basin top never wash clean the zip she use cloth to wipe dry. I taught her how to mop floor but she still holding the mop far away like dancing! and the "hair" of the mop always "tied" together instead of spreading to mop! Mop - To start from the Bedrooms to living room and lastly kitchen, she start from living room and argue that I taught her to start from Living room... Dinner time, teach her to feed Ying Tong. halfway through I ask her to try. And with 3 spoons of porridge, Tong Tong's mouth was covered full with porridge, on the face as well. Did not scrape away the porridge that stain the mouth during each spoon of feed... Dear took her to wash car as I cant tahan her smell anyMoreee... Called the agent and asked why she never informed about the heavy B.O and she say just buy her the deodorant. But its all about the spice what, not the normal BO. I asked the agent what food the maid had while staying with her, she said rice for all 3 meals. I asked why never inform us in the first place, she say its common sense and also told dearie already. So I asked dearie which he called the agent to clarify and the agent started to shout. I told her I would not want this maid if I know she must also eat rice in the morning. I need a maid to assist me and not to hire a maid and I had to serve her! She was shouting and arguing not giving us a chance to talk! Dearie was patient enough to CALM her down and talk to her nicely. I was wondering who is the agent and who is hiring the maid now. Then she gave us her boss number and asked us to contact the boss directly. Fine, so we called. The boss is also from Myanmar. She asked to speak to the maid. We told them we will send the maid back to the agency and willing to pay another agency fee for them to bring Tina back. So they agreed. Day 3 She went to throw rubbish at the rubbish chute outside the house, she did not close the main door but let the main door to close by it self, and it hit on Brandon's tiny finger! He was crying so hard and she ignored but continued to walk to the rubbish chute to throw the rubbish instead of pushing the main door to release his tiny finger! MIL rushed out from the kitchen and scolded her but she said she cannot see him.. (cos not eye level?) She said she did not know his cry was due to his little finger trapped in the door. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !@#$%^& . And Dear send her back to agency. Agent fee not redundable, first month salary also gone, only left the balance of the loan amount which the agency will only return after 4 weeks. Means they will only refund us after processing Tina's permit/air ticket. 很臭咯!
